A District operator of waste water treatment facilities was in need of a hazardous gas detection system for their plants. The sensing portion of this system had specific requirements for gas detection, the customer required alarm alerts for hazardous levels of gases which included, hydrogen sulfide (H2S), methane (CH4), and low levels of oxygen (O2).
The fully assembled system included not only the gas sensors but components such as a controller, flow meters, water separators, and sample draw pumps, as well as all of the tubing, fittings, and valves. This system was completely designed, assembled, and installed at this customers Lexington, Kentucky location in just 4 weeks. This turnkey solution also includes semiannual calibration to ensure that the systems are providing the same high level of safety as the day it was installed.
