The project highlighted here exemplifies Industrial Products ability to design and assemble complex electrical enclosures. Specifications for this project were developed by the department of defense for a Navy application. The enclosure was designed for use as an intrinsic safety barrier enclosure for fire and security sensors in buildings.
This low voltage intrinsic barrier provides protection by limiting the amount of energy to a specific hazardous location, preventing arcing, sparking or heat buildup in the sensors and wiring preventing fire and explosions. The fully assembled, finished enclosure measured 36 x 34 x 8, and included DIN rails and spacers, color coded Panduit, and intrinsic safety barriers.
In just 3 weeks we completed the entire process including planning, assembly, and installation. To learn more about this project, or the processes used to complete it, see the table below or contact us directly.
